(Limited Term Position)

We are seeking an efficient, professional person to join our Collections team in the role of Archive Cataloguer.The Archive Cataloguer position is a limited 6 month tenure position responsible for cataloguing archives from the Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust collection.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the online catalogue for the opening of the redeveloped Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery in 2013.

We are looking for someone who isself motivated, with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail. Advanced computer skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also required.

Candidates will need to have a relevant tertiary qualification with museum registration experience or to be able to demonstrate equivalent skills. Knowledge of Vernon Collection Management System is desirable.
