MA08: Museum People the Human Collection
MA08 - 'Museum People the Human Collection' was held in Dunedin from 8 - 11 April 2008. The theme focussed on people - the staff and volunteers who keep our museums and art galleries functioning - and the challenges, training and development needs, and opportunities that we constantly juggle.
MA08 was attended by over 170 delegates from museums, art galleries and associated organisations around New Zealand and in Australia. Keynote speaker Dr David Fleming, Director of National Museums Liverpool, set the scene for a stimulating and varied programme.
