Capital E is New Zealand's leading centre of creativity for young people. We ignite the creative spark in rangatahi: fostering confident, capable citizens who can be architects of their own future. We are a close knit team of creatives and we're looking for an exceptional team leader and innovator to take our digital programming and experiences to the next level.

Day to day responsibilities include:
You'll be leading a team of highly skilled Digital Educators, overseeing the design and delivery of future focused digital experiences that inspire our growing audience of tamariki and rangatahi. As part of the management team, we'll look to you to contribute to our programming plans with creative, unique and inspiring ideas; and to develop and maintain successful collaborative partnerships in the digital sector.
Key skills and experience required:
To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in producing high quality, innovative digital experiences in creative industry environments and/or in the education sector. Your kaupapa puts children and young people at the heart of your work. In addition, you're an inspiring, experienced leader with energy, creativity, and resourcefulness. Ideally, you'll have an understanding of, and an affinity with, the arts/culture /education sectors. An up to date knowledge of teaching practice and the New Zealand Curriculum is a plus.
Capital E is part of Experience Wellington, a registered charity established by Wellington City Council as a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) to manage and develop its cultural and arts visitor experiences.
