Casual Educator
Stardome is a much-loved observatory and planetarium on the slopes of Maungakiekie.
We are looking for talented educators to join our busy and friendly education team on a casual basis.
The ideal candidate will be:
• a trained teacher, familiar with the NZ Curriculum
• have a background in science, and a particular interest in astronomy, mātauranga Māori, physics, or related fields
• flexible, able to work school hours during term times, sometimes on short-notice.
• friendly, creative, with a passion for connecting tamariki to the wonders of the skies above Tāmaki.
