City Gallery Wellington Te Whare Toi is seeking an experienced Exhibitions Manager to join our team on a 13 month fixed term contract.
This is a special opportunity to join a close knit team and make a vital contribution to an institution that has placed Wellington and New Zealand firmly on the international map.
Using your proven experience in successful exhibition project management, you will work as a member of the Senior Management Team team reporting to the Operations Manager to ensure City Gallery exhibitions, tours, and related programmes run smoothly, to time and to budget. You will be a key team player in the delivery of a major international exhibition in 2021.
You’ll ensure exhibition critical paths are developed and met, manage and coordinate the Exhibitions team and engage and manage technical contractors. You will have had previous relevant experience in an Art Gallery or Museum, project and budget management experience and be an excellent team player.
