Reporting directly to the Visitor Experience Team Leader, the Interpretation and Exhibition Designer will research content and audience needs, chose appropriate interpretive media, develop concepts and liaise with internal and external specialists including graphic designers to create a range of visitor experiences.

You will also support the Visitor Experience team in their use of digital and social media as an information and interpretation tool.

To be successful you will have the enthusiasm and initiative to research and stay up-to-date with current trends in public communication and a proven track record in development of interpretation, exhibition display, digital and social media. You will be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

· Salary: $27.08 to $34.15 per hour

· Hours of work: Fixed-term for a period of 3 years, part-time (20 hours per week) OR Casual
