Te Manawa is seeking a Kaiako with a passion for weaving people, treasures and stories together through knowledge.

You’ll work with Rangitāne and other local iwi to reflect iwi histories, tikanga and aspirations through learning programmes and elevate the mana of tāngata whenua reflecting Te Manawa’s commitment to honouring te Tiriti o Waitangi.

You’ll plan, develop coordinate and deliver Mātauranga Māori programmes that explore heritage, science and art, with people as the foundation of all that we do.

You’ll have proven skills in teaching, with competent use of Te Reo me Tikanga Māori.

You’ll be a great organiser and creative thinker with finely-tuned problem-solving skills.
