Contribute to decision-making for funding environment and heritage project
Hon Jan Tinetti, Minister of Internal Affairs, is seeking expressions of interest for appointment to the Lottery Environment and Heritage Committee.
This Committee considers applications for grants for projects which promote, protect and conserve New Zealand’s natural, cultural and physical heritage. The members of the Committee decide that applications will receive funding.
Members require expertise in one or more aspects of heritage supported by the committee, including:
• environmental regeneration and conservation projects
• historical publications and oral history
• historic building conservation; and
• capital works in the galleries, libraries, whare taonga, archives and museums sector
Candidates for appointment should also have first-hand experience in community groups and knowledge of te ao Māori, which is a particular focus for this appointment round.
