Hokitika Museum (Westland)
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and qualified person to lead the future development of the Hokitika Museum within the historic Carnegie Building, following completion of earthquake strengthening works, and Pakiwaitara, a project still in its infancy which will encompass aspects of a Museum/Research Centre, alongside separately managed Library and visitor information services.
You will need to be able to demonstrate effective leadership at a senior level, with recent experience in driving change and continuous improvement across teams, project management, and, evidence of success in developing constructive relationships with internal and external partners, stakeholders and agencies. You will work alongside your team to develop, promote and deliver exhibitions, including overseeing the assessment and cataloguing of the recently acquired Luminaries Collection.
