 Job Description

The Auckland Museum is currently looking for an Exhibition Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for managing exhibition project teams, delivering exhibitions and gallery renewals within agreed processes, on time, on budget, to a high standard, meeting agreed project goals and objectives.

 Desired Skills and Experience

You will bring with you:

  • Demonstrable experience in project management of exhibitions in a museum or gallery environment with a minimum of three years’ experience
  • Exemplary people and communication skills
  • A deep understanding of visitor engagement and exhibition design
  • An understanding of Tikanga Māori and Pacific
  • Have a postgraduate or tertiary qualification in humanities, science, design, communication, education, museum studies or other relevant fields of study.
