Te Manawa is seeking a Science Curator with experience in the development and delivery of innovative and engaging science exhibitions.
The Science Curator will work with leaders in their scientific fields to develop content that engages people from all walks of life with scientific concepts and the natural world.
You’ll need imagination and drive, because an immediate priority for this role is to lead the redevelopment of our premiere science gallery and education space.
You’ll know how to make complex ideas easy to digest with your own unique formulas and charge the people around you with your unique creative spark. You’ll be an integral part of the team responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of Te Manawa’s exciting and ever-changing exhibition programme.
You will have a thorough understanding of project delivery, contract management and professional exhibition practice.
An understanding of contemporary design principles and experience in developing science-based activities will be an advantage.
