Our host institution this year is MTG Hawke’s Bay, a newly reopened destination at the cultural heart of Napier, New Zealand’s most stylish little city.

The welcome function and opening keynotes will be in MTG's Century Theatre, now in the centre of the redeveloped museum-theatre-gallery.

The main conference sessions, catering and trade exhibition will be in the nearby War Memorial Conference Centre over Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April.

The 2014 NZ Museum Awards celebration on Thursday 3 April will start with a powhiri among the pou in the Hastings Civic Square, and a reception hosted by Hastings City Art Gallery. We will then walk around the corner to Hawke's Bay Opera House for the Awards dinner in the Assembly Room. Transport to and from Napier will be provided.
