A nationally recognised unique outdoor museum which celebrates Taranaki’s pioneer history covering the 1850 – 1950 era. 40 buildings, some authentic historic structures, feature on the 10 acre property. Buildings are open for viewing of interior displays. Stratford Hospital Museum is thought to be one of two complete hospital displays in NZ. Enjoy picnic facilities or the ambience of on-site Shakee Pear Cafe.
