Otautau Museum

Most displays are FREE, but Donations always gratefully accepted. Our current new exhibit "Dolls from Yesteryear til Today" is a loaned private collection, to help Fundraise for upcoming Museum projects, Gold Coin Donation for entry.

The Otautau Museum is a small Museum, located in Otautau, 50km from Invercargill. The museum is in the historic Courthouse on the Main Road.
Our collection consists of photographs, archives and objects related to Otautau and Districts.
Family History Day on the 1st Sunday of every month (except Winter) - costs apply if we do research for you - Family Historian available FREE for advice.
Archives open most Wednesdays from 10.30am-2.30pm but please contact us as above first, to ensure we are there and available, thank you.
