Celebrating the district’s social history, the Museum collections cover the arrival of southern Māori, early European settlers, and the resulting enterprise that made this district unique. Included are exhibitions on Sgt Dan and Creamoata Mill while ‘Hook, Line and Sinker’ is dedicated to fly fishing on the Mataura River.
