Department of Internal Affairs has been running the consultation process regarding the proposal to remove the exemption for FENZ levies on collections. MA made a submission on behalf of members to that consultation process in August 2022. The exemption was due to expire 30 June 2024 but that has now been pushed out to 30 June 2026.

While exemptions to collections are not part of this amendment, MA presented a submission at the select committee hearing in October 2022.
