This was a general discussion regarding reopening museums in Level 2, Starting with contributions from Hiraani Himona (Te Tuhi), Rowan Carroll (NZ Police Museum), Tui Te Hau (National Library of NZ), Te Herekiekie Herewini (Te Papa) and Craig Le Quesne (Te Papa). 

The discussion covered topics such as the logistics of staff returning to work, cleaning of exhibitions and facilities, visitor journeys through spaces, collection care and kaitiakitanga, impacts on public programmes, exhibitions and events, contact tracing, and maintaining social distancing.

This online session was presented by Museums Aotearoa in partnership with National Services Te Paerangi.
