There are various funds available or in planning to support museums and galleries through the effects of COVID-19. As well as the $2m Museum Hardship Fund, the Ministry for Culture & Heritage is working on three other funds:
Zui recording: Code of Ethics & Repatriation
This zui discussed the application of the Code of Ethics and the addition of a National Repatriation Addendum for Kōiwi Tangata and Associated Burial Taonga within Aotearoa.
It was the first of several opportunities to hear about ethics and repatriation and to make suggestions for the review.
