At the Alexander Turnbull Library we develop and maintain comprehensive collections of audio, visual and documentary material relating to Aotearoa New Zealand & Pacific music, musicians, composers and music organisations. 

As the Music Research Librarian, you are a key part of the team that helps make connections between researchers, and the collections that will help them create new music and knowledge.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional from the Documentary Heritage sector who shares our passion for building collections and supporting research focussed on Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific.

The project involves cataloguing collections using eHive, imaging, marking and packing museum collections. The following positions will commence on 2 November 2020 for a fixed term of 20 months.
