The Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA) presents a unique and incredible leadership opportunity.  We are looking for a new Director to take the gallery forward!

About the Role

This role requires a flexible, inspirational and driven leader who can effectively balance the development and implementation of a dynamic artistic programme, while identifying and developing funding models for the gallery that will ensure its vitality and sustainability long-term.

About You

The successful candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, with experience in coaching and developing staff through empowering their decisions, and allowing for their creative process.

You will demonstrate the ability to foster a supportive and dynamic work place.

You will be engaging, passionate, and bring energy and excitement to everything you do.

Ideally, you will have experience engaging and growing audiences, managing stakeholders, and translating audience growth to commercial funding results. 

You will have experience in managing business operations, budgeting/forecasting, fundraising, sponsorship and the development of new revenue streams.

Your passion for the Arts and its undeniable place in creating strong, resilient communities will come through in everything you do.

A strong connection to the Arts – locally, nationally and internationally will be considered advantageous.

You will be 'hands on' - comfortable and passionate about operating in a flat, inclusive, and collaborative team.

You will be relentless in providing the most exceptional quality in everything you do.
